Ah sweetie I feel you. This is a long process and its easy to get anxious. I sure feel anxious right now. It took four weeks for my blood tests to come back and now I am waiting for my pre op apointment and have no idea when my surgury is going to be. I didn't have to get a letter of medical necessity, but I am sure you can call your doc's office and ask them how this all works. I had to be blunt with the secetary and say can you tell me just how all this works because waiting for a call takes forever. Hope it gets better for you and you hear something real soon.

Don't beat yourself up sweetie. Everyone enjoys a break from life just jump back on the horse and start losing again. You can do it!

I feel your pain. My pre op apointment is july 14 and I have been totally undiscipined! My food problem is worse than before. Its like I am using the surgery for an excuse to eat whatever I want because it will be the last time. I am hoping after I have the surgury I am more motivated. I can't wait for the doc to put me on a pre opt diet just so I can gain back some control over my eating habbits. I guess you are not in this alone

Well good luck to you sweetie. You will just have to get some good tunes to travel with you to make the time go faster. The drive is probably worth the fabulous journey you are redding to embark on..

I did my testing at a hospital closer to my house in the lab and just had them fax over the documents. They didn't fax it for a couple of weeks so make sure it gets faxed as soon as possible. My doctor's office is about a two hour drive because they are the only office that takes my insurance. Probably want to check with the doctor's office to make sure that doing your lab work somewhere else is ok because every place is different. I have to go to the doc's office for the pre op apointment. They should be ok with it though, hope this helped a little.

Good job you should be so proud of yourself! Congratulations! I also have athritis in the form of gout. I am only 33 years old so I hope this surgury is going to help me with my gout. Artritis can be so painful. I am glad you are doing better and keep up the good work
