That is awesome!! Great job!! This is inspiring to me. I would love to know your story. I was banded Sept 30th and although I have restriction the weight is not coming off. I am S..TRRUUUGGULLINGG.. Looking for some advice that I can only get from other banders....Doctors are great but I need to talk to someone going through it!

That's my mind set. It has to be. I don't have it in me to quit without a fight....... I had surgery September 30th, 2011. I expected my weightloss to be a little slower than I would have liked simply because I received a promotion with work and moved out of state 8 weeks after surgery. It then took me until February to get in with another doctor up here. But since February I have had 2 fills (that's a total of 3) and although I feel restriction and I excercise 4 days a week for 1 hour I haven't lost any weight. Now with that being said I have lost a total of 27lbs since the start of this. And for me...hey it's 27lbs that I don't need. I do find myself getting frustrated because I have gone so long without seeing any weightloss. Has anyone else experienced this? If so......please share. I need some encouragement right about now.

This is still new to me so the best I can do is tell you to keep your head up....don't get dicouraged ( I know easier said than done ) And Diane is right. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Thank you!! I have my appointment scheduled for Wednesday at 4pm. I'm sure it's nothing. I am SUPER EXCITED about my promotion and move to North Carolina! YAY!

Thank you both. Diane, I am calling my Ob Gyn in the morning to set an appointment. I think it's nothing but agree with you both and just want to make sure. Was hoping it would be gone this morning but it's not. <shrugs> I am so excited to be moving up there! 4 weeks and counting!!! We will have to get together Diane! I am really looking forward to that one of these days! )
