Where were most of you by one month post -op as far as eating and weight loss!

Thank you all for responding! I am 10days post-op! I am on two weeks full liquids. Not being able to drink milk or lacta id has been hard. I can't wait until I can eat soft foods. I hope each of you have a blessed day!

I had surgery a week ago today. Since I started the process 20 days ago I have lost a total of 15 pounds!

What were you told to drink the day before surgery? Where you told to take a laxative?

Anyone have problem with diarrhea drinking all the water during pre-op diet?

That"s great! I have three more days till my surgery and can't wait for it to be over!

Thanks Robin J, Corrigan, and Three Musketeers for you information. I am so looking forward to getting off my meds and living a healthier life. My BMI is 40. I am so glad that I found this site and can share info with others who have been through what I have. Good luck to us all.

Thanks for answering my question. I have been on meds for reflux for several years.I have my labs done tomorrow and have surgery a week from tomorrow.Can't wait to start my new journey!
