Determined and Ready

Well down 32 pounds since 11/28/11. Kinda proud of myself. Had a fill on Monday of 1 1/2 cc's.

Went to the doctor today and he said I was healing well. Got the okay to eat whatever I could. Didn't get a fill. I had lost 13 lbs. since my surgery date 11/28/11. I'll take it. Just hope I can do it again next month. Only thing he told me not to eat was bread, rice, pasta, sugar and corn.

Has anyone quit taking Cymbalta while being on the lap band? I really want to quit taking this medication but have tried a couple of times and thought I was going to lose my mind!

Well I go the doctor on the 28th one month after lap band surgery. I am wondering if he will give me a fill? He is going to be gone so seeing me earlier than planned.

Well it has been a rough week. Stayed true to the diet. Had to resume meds except diabetes. I feel so much better. I have to push walking next week.

Got staples out today. Started on potassium and diovan.Praying I feel better soon!

I quit taking all my meds except blood pressure and cymbalta. That would be nexium, januvia, glipizide, potassium. Maybe that's while I don't feel well. Go to doctor on Friday! Sure hope he has answers!!

Day 3 Post-Op! Still fighting with shoulder and neck pain. However, not too bad. Hopefully will subside soon. See my doctor on Friday. I am ready for some mushies! This week clear liquids, next week all liquids, then muschies! Would love to hear how some are you are doing. I only lost 10 pounds before surgery. I only had 13 days when I started my protein shakes before surgery. Hoping for the best. Have a great week everyone!

Well had my surgery yesterday. Got there at 7:00 am and was home by noon. I am still have pains and shoulder and neck pains. Not too bad. hopefully tomorrow will be a better day. Just glad it's behind me!
