What were you told to drink the day before surgery? Where you told to take a laxative?

I just had to follow my pre-op diet, no laxative.

I started drinking the trilyte at noon (same stuff they give you prior to a colonoscopy). It was prescribed at my pre op appointment - it seems not all doctors give patients the joy of this RX :-)

I had to only drink clear liquids the day before surgery. Best of luck to you tomorrow!!!
