  1. OMG!!! 11 weeks. You will be at your goal in no time! Congrats!
  2. Wow. When I went for the psych eval, I told the therapist I was on this site and obesity help. I told her that both were a good source of information from people that are going through it, good, bad or indifferent. She was happy that I was in communication with others that would give me a general idea of "what to expect" and its also a good support system.
  3. This was absolutely wonderful story. My PCP is great too. When I went in last week, I told her my plans and she told me to go for it. To live life and enjoy myself!
  4. Congratulations!!! You are a Firecracker too!!!!
  5. I haven't had surgery yet but I went to the celebrate vitamins website and ordered the free sample. They will send you like 10-15 samples in different flavors. I ordered the multi-complete (which has iron) and calcium Sunday night and the package was here yesterday. I like the fact I only have to take 2 of the multi vitamins a day and then the calcium. Alternating 2 hour intervals.
  6. It is not all bad, at least you have a surgery date. I have to wait until my last appointment for the info to be submitted to the ins company. I am hoping for a quick turn around and a mid-late July date.
  7. Thank you for the update. It really helps us that are in the "preparation" stage to have a feel as to what to expect. We not not all results are the same but it give us a guideline. You are doing great!!!! You are in wonderland and out of the 200's. That's a reason to celebrate!!!!
  8. OMG!!! Congratulations! I wish my surgeon's office would do that. But its okay. I am so excited for you!
  9. That's wonderful! Congratulations!
  10. Like someone else said, you look great!!!!!
  11. Congrats on getting your date and the price difference!

  15. OMG!!! Did you finally come down and get some rest?
  16. Great idea. I am so thank for this board.....everyone is so helpful with suggestions and tips.
  17. You have came a long way. This is an amazing feat! The good thing is you have learned from your mistakes. Make sure you are getting enough protein and carbs for your workouts.
  18. I haven't been sleeved yet but I track my foods via sparkpeople.com and livestrong.com. I also have these two apps on my blackberry. iPhone users may want to try the free app called loseit--a friend of mine uses this. Of course, all three you can track online for free.
  19. OMG!!! Girl--you almost made me cry--right here at work in the midst of a big project. It is awesome to look back at it all and say it wasn't easy but it was worth it!!! OMG! I don't have any kids of my own either but I would love to do that with my God-babies!
  20. I am at work and almost fell out the chair reading this. It so reminds me of when I had my tibia and fibula broken and I took my first shower alone. :-) I felt like someone had been mugged and they even took my contacts out. I hopped to the bed and stayed there until dinner. I will keep this lesson in mind.
  21. I really like Amplified shakes too. Not every GNC here in Houston sells it though. :-( I like the Strawberry!
  22. Awesome!!! Congratulations! Thanks so much for sharing!
