Thank you Susie for the encouragement. I am just going to do enough work to get me by and not stay a full day. I never take off so it shouldnt be too bad.

I agree with you on the scary part. Such a big commitment to make such a serious decision to have surgery.

For me its a do or die kinda thing. Now I have this inner accountability that I dont want to screw up or make myself sick by not following the guidelines.

You are so lucky no gas have you started to eat anything?

Walking is easy, its the getting up and down that is very difficult. I dont know what I would do if I was bigger and couldnt maneuver as well. It is difficult to get up and down and not use those stomach muscles. I am so tender. I am bloated like Im 9 months pregnant lol I am using arm strength mostly for getting up and down and babying my stomach. Dont know if thats a right thing to do though.

Congratulations!!! I'm so excited for you. I had my appointment today and set surgery date for June 8th. I hope that you feel better tomorrow. Everything I've read says it's really important to walk....I'm sure you know that, but I'm wondering if it's hard to do?? Are you really uncomfortable?

Marie I was scared also you have to do it for you and your health. You are young like me. Im only 45. Its time we start living. I say go for it and take care of yourself so you can be there along time for those three kids

I wouldnt bealramed Marie. I had surgery this morning at 8 am woke up around 12 and was dismissed around 2. I have to stay in a local hotel so I would be comfortable and close just in case something happened. I live 2.5 hours from the Surgical center. So now I am trying to rest. Very difficult to move but am confident I will be fine. So will you. I am staying close over night just in case. Good luck Marie. Keep me posted.
