  3. I live in buffalo ny. And would love if I could get a recommendation around here. I am waiting to see about fmla. They would take me vacation time for 2015 if I take fmla. they already took all my 2014 time due to health issues. My in laws live in tx and have only seen my son 1 time an were trying to get down there
  4. Ive called all the way to nyc and cleveland clinic. No one will see me bc of my issues
  5. I will keep you posted. It is my fear that the lack of experience of my surgeon is the reason for my difficulties. My dilation yesterday was the first one that the thoracic surgeon didnt have to remove sutures or staples. Wr are hoping that I can make progress now. I am trying to be hopeful my job is no longer understanding since i am in the hospital so frequently and I have a 14 month old. I keep fighting but it truly is causing lots of strain in my life.
  6. I am still dealing with my stricture. I am in the hospital weekly for dilations. Have made much progress. I do not want my surgeon to do surgery and having a hard time finding another doctor in my condition. I have had 12 procedures since my bypass August 25.

  8. I hit a brick wall again the stent migrated out of place. Next step is another revision surgery. Hopefully this is the last negative I have
  9. Thank you! My husband and mom are angels. I wouldn't be able to do it without them.
  10. I am home and feeling some comfort. I have been taken out of work for 3 weeks until the stent can be removed. I will have a picc line placed in my arm tomorrow and will be getting tpn (the stuff they put in feeding tubes) until.the stent is removed. I am so malnourished that my body is unable to heal and at this time they dont want my gi muscles to work. I have an IV at home that i can change and am trying to stay positive. This has to work and will work. 8 days down 20 more to go.
  11. Has anyone had to have a stent placed after band to rny revision? I have had my stent 8 days and I have beem hospitalized for 3 days and now receive IV fluids and meds around the clock at home. I need to know someone had success from the stent I will be bed ridden for 3 weeks to keep it in. I have not eatem in 15 weeks since I started my pre op liquid diet. I have been on clear liquids amd need advise and encouragement to continue.
  12. i had my revision 8/25i have yet to get passed clear liquids. I had a stent placed last week. I am hoping this fixes my issues since i had 4 dilations with no success.
  13. The only way they will change the meds is if they admit me to the hospital for review again for 24 hours. I have an 11 month old at home and I am trying so hard not to leave him since I was hospitalized 2 times last week.
  14. I am having issues again with the stent with constant nausea and pain. The meds arent lasting the 8 hours they should. Only 3 weeks left and Ill be in the clear but I am very discouraged at this point
  15. Thank you. I am greatful to have someone to talk to my family doesnt quite understand.
  16. I have been released and have meds to take every few hours so hopefully i can keep the stent and no further surgery!
  17. They are admitting me to the hospital until Friday. I haveny drank in 48 hours ad keep throwing up. Prayers are definitely needed
