  1. Today after 3 months of herassing my primary, I have finally scheduled a date for surgery June 16. I am 24 days away from my new beginning. I am currently 22 years old and have been overweight my entire life. When I was 17 years old I had lost 75 lbs by following the atkins diet and ultimately when i reached what I thought was a great weight my docter told me I was 11 lbs overweight still. This is when the weight started coming back. I have always told myself I am ok with being overweight but this is the end. I am going to lose the weight and keep it off and not allow any1 to discourage me. I know this will once again be a struggle and will continue through my entire life, but I am ready to fight back against obesity.. I know this is going to be a long journey but I am ready to face my fears. 24 more days until surgery and nothing will hold me back. This is not a quick fix but an aid to be who I want to be. Time to look in the mirror and see the beauty of me! Every1 just remember, you can do it if you put your mind to it.
