  2. Anyone told they might not be able to have laparoscopy surgery due to adhesions prior to the VS surgery? Did you have any problems?

  4. I would just gain a little weight, they wan't to that magic number 40 bmi. Also make sure you get you height recheched. I found out today I am only 4' 11 not 5' 1 like my chart said.
  5. I am still trying to decide, how much I should let out. Only my boss who is overweight and very understanding a 2 close co- workers know right now. I might wait until after it is done to open up about it.
  6. With Kaiser it will be about 10-11 months total. 5 months is spent just waiting for the next process to start.
  7. I think we have a better chance at keeping it off now vs. the people 5 yrs ago. There was so little information and support out there 5 yrs ago.

  9. On my 40th birthday I got a blue butterfly on my stomach. It covers my gallbladder scar that goes up and down. I was just thinking the other day for my 50th in Dec, I want to get a heart on my back with my husband and 2 boys names in it.
  10. I remember you posting about this a few months back. That's great news they can do both at the same time.
  11. You need patience with Kaiser. You will be well educated, but it is a long process. It's about a 8 to 12 month time frame from approval to surgery. Good luck.

  14. Wow never heard of anyone going thur the process so fast. Please read as much information about the surgery and the after care, its very important to be as well educated as possible. Good luck!
  15. I too love to look at everyone's before and after pictures. When I saw TexasT's before and after pictures last July thats when I made up my mind I was going to do this. Even if insurance wasn't going to pay for it ,I would find a way. Luckly insurance is!
