The good thing about being a slow loser
Well my symptoms were getting really nauseous and shakey after excersicing, to the point where my handswould literally shake as if it was freezing cold (when it wasn't) and I would need something to eat after which i would inmediately feel better. The other symptom was the fat around my middle/belly, i always used to have a flat bell no matter what (a pear shape) and suddenly about 5 years ago I started putting on all the weight round my middle turning into an apple shape. I was put on a lowcarb diet by my endocrinologist, the symptoms disppeared, not the the weight around my belly though, lost nearly a stone, but that was it.

How is 1200 Calories enough?
Anyway I'm going to try and ditch the milk and my cappuccino and chai powders (which add up to my carbs a lot) I tried today soya milk with my coffee and it wasn't that bad. I would love to get hold of the Click protein mix that GT recomended (they have a mocha and a cappuccino flavour) They don't seem to have round here, I might order some online, but in the meantime I have to take the bull by the horns, I want to get to goal ASAP so I'm going to go against my beliefs and lowcarb seriously for a week. I'm nearly 6 months out so now I'm really starting to panic cause I am a bit hungrier than I used to be, I have quite a few capuccinos (skimmed milk) or I make frappuccinos again skimmed milk and sweeteners but I'm going to have to go without

Coops you should ask your doctor if they can test your thyroids if they haven't yet, I think if you were insulin resistant you would have symptoms, at least I did, arghhhhhhh annoying isn't it!!!

6 weeks, doc dissapointed in weight loss
Very interesting point, the diet/not to diet thing. I feel the same. As I said in many threads before I have been on a diet for 30+ years (I was first put on a diet when I was 9) and the only thing it did was make me fat. Lose 10 gain 20, lose 20 gain 30, it went on and on, the story of my life. Restricting myself from so much food that I love would make me go mad after having finished whatever diet Iwas on and eat 10 times as much as I normally would've eaten had I not "banned" that food in the 1st place. It's a fact that we (including children) eat much more of the "prohibited" food once we have it available. So yeah, I'll probably not get to goal that quick, but I have made that desicion, never "diet" again!

Are there any SIZE Goal sleevers out there?
I'm so near to my size goal!! I can fit into my size 12 UK jeans but still tight around the waist. To ne honest the only reason I need to lose more to feel comfortable is because of my middle bit> I'm happy with my face, legs arms (boobs to small and tummy too big ) Even though now my size goal is a 10 UK and that's final!

I agree, I would say up your calories to around 800, maybe add some greens? I can't understand why he would say that and give you no specific guidelines. I am a slow loser, but i decided to go for a healthy balanced diet and not as low carbs as some people, because I believe this is going to be the way I am going to eat for the rest of my life.
