  1. I know I had a full head of beautiful curly hair before i had my daughter, with my pregnancy, my thick hair thinned out and started falling out through out the 13yrs after I had my daughter... and now with this surgery! I am looking like my dad... bald as heck!!! lol it's embarrassing!, thanx for the website info!
  2. and that is exactly what I was trying to do by doing this post!!! i feel so damn depressed and I need to do something, I need to be surrounded by ladies or even men like us. Who understand what we are going through, and it's different if we are surrounded by people in person than online. I mean online support is awesome but I need real interaction, like group stuff, it seems more real that way? HOpe I am explaining myself good. Sorry I am trying to type fast, hubby and i are going out, and i jumped on here quick when i read my notification on my cell, lol. but I will get back to you on this.. i love this idea!!!!!!!! seriously!!! woohoo, I am very excited.

  9. I totally get you!!! I look at what i call "my previous life" type of servings and think.. wow! how was I able to eat all that!!! Kind of how I use to hate when the skinny girls would look at me like "how can you eat all that!"....
  10. When did you get sleeved? Wow! I loved the 1st dinner date I had with my hubby! it even felt romantic, I felt classy like the restaurant! lol. I was happy to fit in a booth comfortably. It was a seafood restaurant. I ordered a baked fish thing with rice and salad. I figured I will order a full dinner plate but save the left overs for the next day to come. I only had like 3 bites lol... but it was the best meal ever!!!!!
  11. thanx! I can't wait for beach weather.. I am going to buy my 1st bathing suit as an adult!! of course it will be a 1 piece, can't wait!
  12. Lastnight after I got out of the shower, I realized the towel wrapped around me perfectly. Before it use to leave a big triangle shaped exposing my behind, lol. I ran out of the bathroom dancing in my towel. My husband giggled at me and whistled, lol. It was an awesome feeling.. just had to share another joy!
  13. This group is very quiet I just found this group and from Chicago. Do you all ever feel down and out I use to go to my support group where I got my surgery but they all had surgery long ago and seem to stick with one another.. leaving the new girl out, lol Anyone had their surgery at NMH?

  15. love this post!!! I was just dancing around today when my husband got on the scale and we realized I weigh 10lbs lighter than he does!!!!!!! woohoo!! (he is taller and average) love the feeling <3 i feel normal, and just how it's suppose to be

  18. exactly!! I feel like they are saying "you know you are fat and quit trying to eat like a skinny!"
  19. yes, my hospital does have a support group and an online support group but... I hope I don't offend anyone. They are all way older than I am. I am 32,they are all in their 50's lol. And they are all like years into their post op. I guess the young ones are too cool to go lol
  20. Sometimes I feel alone in this. Other people dont get the ups and downs. The are quick to critic what little amount I eat and it makes me feel horrible. Anyone out there in Chicago? Just to hear a real life buddy to hang out with, lol. Sorry to sound pathetic, lol
  21. you are so right!! I have come this far so let's continue on this path!!! my self image is terrible. I don't want to regain that crazy ugly weight! thank you
  22. I have severe bat flappy wings, lol and need advice on how to get rid of them! My friend does body wraps. Have any of you tried that? Supposedly it tightens your skin.
  23. I will be honest with my experience. I am 1 year 2 days post op. I have lost 69lbs, use to be 237lbs now at 168lbs. My self esteem is terrible! worse than before. I know I lost weight, but I don't see it. I still see the girl who was a 2X and not the girl who is now a 12-13. I don't feel thinner. I do feel lighter but I still see myself as a very big girl. don't get why I feel this way... I feel very disappointed, I see so many girls/ladies who have had the surgery and they look so beautiful, but I don't see me like them. sighh
