  1. Keep up the good work. 4lbs is awesome.

    Im learing to take it slow. Im able to eat a lot No veggies though b/c of the gas.

    I was banded on 4/20 and cant wait for a fill. I find myself able to eat alot more then I expected.

    Everyone is telling me that will change after my first fill.

    And like Judy said I need to get rid of that fat girl inside of me. My head was and still is stronger then my stomach. Im Italian and was brought up with eat everything and a Beautiful Grandma who said and still does (shes 90) here have more.

    At time I crave things and so want them but then think of the dissapointment I will feel.

    I was banded 4/20 and have chewed and chewed some more. I Have eaten mushies at a little under week 3. I will be filled the same time as you. No carbs or veggies yet.

    I did have a slice of thin crust pizza and it all went well. Im kinda looking foward to a fill. I hear about things getting stuck or ppl feeling very sick after eating but not for me so that worries me a little.

    What have you been eating?

  3. My scale is the same alot of WTF is coming out of my mouth to. However success with being able to start eggs and mashed potatoes.

    Wish I had some umph to get my butt to the gym Dr said yesterday increase your exercise. I was like increase crap I didnt even start yet. Guess the time is now.

    Nebraska sounds so pretty right now coming from a drab Long Island NY'r

    I was banded same day as you and feel horrible. Gas pains sleep patterns and now I have a rash from maybe just laying around.

    Tired of protein shakes and the smell is makeing me sick. Any sugguestions?


  5. I'm doing the liquid diet as well. I'm on my 7th day and have lost 7 pounds so far! The sugar free Carnation Instant Breakfast drinks are really good. Don't buy the premixed bottles though! They taste nasty. Buy the packets and mix it with skim milk. I've been eating sugar free applesauce too which helps when you feel like you need to chew something (can't have that post op though) :( Get different kinds of sugar free jello and sugar free pudding. You can also add things into your shakes. I had some peanut butter in my cookies and cream protein shake tonight and it was a nice change. not to mention 45 g protein in one drink!Good luck!

    Thanks but I guess my liquid diet is different from what I have been reading. Im not allowed to have anything but clear liquieds.

    NO milk so they are getting gross. Chicken protein shakes for lunch and dinner and jello for snacks. Breakfast is sugar free

    hot cocoa with plain protein. IM starving.
