    BIKING HARD

MY HUBBY AND I WENT BIKING TODAY. WE BIKED 5 MILES IN AND 5 MILES BACK OUT. WE WENT ON A TRAIL WHICH IS OF COURSE EASIER TO RIDE BUT I GOTTA TELL YA - I NEVER IN A MILLION YEARS WOULD HAVE THOUGHT I COULD EVER DO THIS. REMEMBER I HAVE FIBROMYALGIA. LAST TIME I RODE MY BIKE WAS 2 YRS. AGO AND I WAS 50 LBS HEAVIER AND COULD ONLY DO A TOTAL OF 4 MILES AND IT JUST ABOUT KILLED ME FOR REAL!!! SO 10 MILES TOTAL BIKE RIDE TODAY IS JUST UNBELIEVEABLE FOR ME!!! YEAH ME!!!

  9. Hi Shonette! Sorry to hear you have been having some difficulties. I get sliming and stuck from time to time too. I hate it. My band is so ornery! We fight all the time! LOL. I have been at a stand still for the past 2 months! Ugg!! No wt. loss. Depressing. But I have slacked in exercising though coz of my fibromyalgia causing me some grief lately. But oh well, I just keep plugging along, taking one day at a time. It seems it will be a slow process for me as well. Take care and keep us posted on your progress!

The Food Blues & Why I'm Not Crying Over It

There are days when I regret it because of the sliming and getting stuck episodes which aren't often, but they are def there. Ya never know when they are gonna show their ugly face. But I def am proud of the 50 lbs. that I lost. I am at a stall now but I have not been exercising much due to some pain from my fibromyalgia which has returned to cause me much frustration. But like everyone else has pretty much stated, you reap what you sew, so if you put alot of effort into losing the wt. - it will def come off. Good luck to you on your journey. I wish you well.

    Restriction first fill...

Yah - my vitamins and supplements are huge pills too. I hate them!!!! I have to find something smaller as well. I think I will try the gummies also. I love that pic you posted of the scale. I have it posted on my frig. LOL
  19. roseyposey

    Is that what that is????

It's funny that you say you get shoulder pain when eating too fast and getting stuck, I immediately get a sharp headache and pain in my chest when I eat too fast and get stuck. I too, think that it is a warning from the band!!!
  20. roseyposey

I must have not been paying attention ..... again

I was told it is because you tend to gulp with a straw and thus take in more air bubbles causing more gas pains! No fun!!! As for soda, any carbonated beverages is a no go - as it also causes gas and it can erode the band.

    CAN YOU SAY - "FRUSTRATION!"

Well after a month of not losing any weight (5 months out and 50lbs less) and being able to pretty much eat what I want and as much as I want if I didn't stop, and soooo ready to schedule another fill, guess what happens today? - yep - yet another episode of sliming and throwing up and would you believe - after a protein shake? GO FIGURE!!!! Grrrrr - now I am at a loss to know what to do - get a fill or not???? I even stepped up my exercise. I have been taking two long walks daily instead of one and I also started some exercising in my hottub as much as tolerated. I have fibromyalgia. I swear I have the most finicky band ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
