  1. Mine is really fuzzy where it's growing back from band surgery. I lost a lot in the shower this morning. I can only hope it's not going to come out as much as it did last time.
  2. good question. sometimes I weigh the same before bed as I do in the morning though.
  3. Walmart has banana popsicles in the Walmart brand. Do you have a safeway? they have sugar free banana too. A&W makes a sf popsicle too. I have never been a fan of root beer, but look for A&W sf popsicles at your grocery store.
  4. I weigh every morning and before bed. I have ever since band surgery. I like to know where I stand.
  5. Suzanne came to visit me in the hospital in Mexicali! I returned your email but then I didn't hear back from you. My hair is already starting to fall out. I am freaked out.
  6. I remember when I was a kid they had chocolate popsicles. I wish I could find those again. Do you want to chat tonight?
  7. sf Jello has so many less calories than sf pudding. I am such a chocoholic I would try chocolate anything.
  8. Yum Yum! I just had 2 of them and it totally satisfied my sweet tooth! Why don't they make chocolate Jello?
  9. You know what makes it better and not many more calories? Fat free coolwhip over the jello!
  10. I have Celestial blueberry tea that's really good. I forgot about it. I think I will have some now! I have trouble in the evenings wanting something non stop.
  11. Hey I think there are cook books for people with WLS. I know at LBT there is a food section with lots of recipes.
  12. 1 container of silken tofu at room temp 2 tablespoons cocoa 1 to 2 squares unsweetened chocolate (melted) stevia or equal to taste It's listed on page one of this thread. Apparently, the tofu has directions on it on how to prepare it before you start adding the other ingredients. I haven't tried it yet.

yay! I can't wait to hear which of the syntrex nectars you end up thinking is okay. I think you said you expect them to arrive tomorrow.
  14. Fish is always a good option. lasagne is good because you can eat the middle. Anything meatloaf like. Meatloaf is not fancy like something you would make for company, but it's that texture you're going to need.
  15. Bands are miserable to live with. You'll be happier with the sleeve. It takes several fills to where you even can tell you have a band and until then, it's willpower alone. Besides that, you have to keep going back for fills, and if it's not right, get an unfill. don't even get me started on the complications bands cause. There would not be so many people getting revision surgery from bands to sleeve if we were all happy with our bands.
  16. I used Alaska Air but in St. Lewis it's probably Northwest Air. It's a good idea to use one of the web sites that check all the prices for you then call that airline directly because you get charged extra for using them. Travelocity is another one besides Expedia.
  17. I was really full today. I could hardly drink Water. I had my little can of chicken salad for lunch that I have had before, but for some reason today it just made me feel stuffed all afternoon. I don't like that. I like being able to drink all the water I need, easily. I hope it gets easier for you soon, Eyfura!
  18. Mac where do you find fage yogurt? Is that something you find in a health food store or a regular ol grocery store? I love laughing cow cheese too. It's great for only 35 calories. I sometimes put it on those carckers I like.
  19. There are a lot of people who gain all their weight back with gastic bypass. Their stomachs stretch out easily. It's easy to lose weight the first year, but unless they continue to eat small portions and stay away from junk, the weight will come back on. I have seen it with just about all the people I know who had gastric bypass.
  20. I've never seen Fage yogurt. where do you get that?
  21. Susan, I am really glad to see you posting here. You have very valuable information and experience that you can share with new comers. I am glad to read things are going better for you. I am glad to read that you're having an easier time eating and drinking. I know the first couple of months were rough, but I am really glad to hear it's better. Now I have to go back and see if you posted your story. Again, I am glad to see you here!
  22. You got your sleeve just about a month before me. It's so great to have everyone to share this journey together!
  23. yeah, it's true. I have to tell myself I need the Calcium. My dad had severe osteoporosis. It's pretty easy for me to stay under my carb limit since i am doing 2 Protein shakes per day. They have like 2 grams of carbs.
  24. there is some that comes in small containers. I get the Walmart brand, but Dannon makes one that's called fit and lite. they are made with a sugar substitute. There are carbs in milk, so carbs can't be avoided in yogurt. The crackers I eat are Kellogs all bran crackers in garlic and herb. There is about one carb per cracker. 19 carbs in 18 crackers with 5 grams of fiber and 120 calories. 4 crackers with a string cheese is a perfect snack. I like the low fat colby/jack that are in the shapes of string cheese and are 60 calories.
