    STALLS!!! [emoji35]

So I'm 4 weeks post op & I have been eating soft foods just fine for about a week. However, I think I may have hit a stall? My weight has been fluctuating between 5lbs since about the start of week 3. It'll go up 5lbs, then back down. But for the last few days, it's been fluctuating just a few ounces. Can someone tell me if I've hit a stall? I'm not sure if a stall means your weight just stays the same, or if you're not losing anymore past a certain point. I'm quite frustrated but I'm trying not to be because #1 I've just started eating soft foods. #2, it's still early & #3 I should just stay off the scale. Though, inches wise, I'm not losing either. It's just frustrating because I'm working out, eating a sufficient amount of calories, and the only thing I can think of is Protein. Maybe I'm not getting in enough (I don't get in the recommended 60 daily ) I guess my ultimate question is: Is this normal to stall this early on?! When did you stall?! How did you break it? WHAT AM I DOING WRONG?!

Weight loss is a really simple formula. Calories in vs calories out. Keep at a deficit and it will come off. I find it detrimental to view other people's mega success posts. Number one they might not be telling the whole truth and two everyone is different. Keep on keeping on. You've lost 40 lbs in five months. If you lose another 40 you'll be 230 in June. Pretty impressive. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    I need a workout plan!

Google "7 minute workout" or get one of the free apps that do it, it's a quick bodyweight workout that will get you moving. If you want to go to an actual gym, see if there's a Planet Fitness near you. They're cheap - $10/month. Also they have a great section for their "Circuit training program". It's 10 machines that work all major muscle groups. There's a light that turns green for 1 minute and red for 30 seconds. When it's green you work out on one machine. When it's red you stop and move to the next one. They also have steppers there to do some cardio between every machine. If you follow it exactly you'll do a 30 minute workout that includes 10 minutes of cardio and 10 minutes of weight training. If you want to mix things up every day, try the playing card workout - http://lifehacker.com/5849412/wednesday-deck-of-cards-workout Lifehacker also has a full workout routine if you want to try to commit to a regular sustained workout: http://lifehacker.com/5849409/the-lifehacker-workout-exercise-for-normal-people Good luck!
