Okay...this is kind of embarassing but I just possibly had a light bullb moment. I have been dealing with a rather embarassing problem for my whole adult life. When I get turned on, even from just a heavy make out session I get SO wet. Like...WAY too much. I know its a normal body function, blah, blah. Im a labor nurse and well versed in sexual function and how our bodies act. The problem is its embarassing AND has a negaive impact on my sex life. I LOVE oral sex and can get pleasure so easily they arent down there too much. However, once sex starts, I cant feel a thing because Im so dripping wet the friction is gone. And though Ive never had any complaints, I have went through a decent amount of guys who complimented my kissing and foreplay and massages to high heavens...but didnt come back for second after finally getting me in the sack. That could be because the thrill of the chase is over, but Im thinking its more likely because they couldnt FEEL anything!!! Ive googled the problem several times only to hear how "lucky" I am and apperently there is no medication for it. I really dont want to hear how lucky I am. For dryness you can use lube. Being WAY too wet is having a negative impact big time. BUT HERE WAS MY LIGHTBULB With "stress incontinence" being a co-morbidity, does being excessivley wet have to do with being overweight??? Has anyone else battled this??? Or was my lightbulb for mothing? I hope its weight related although Ive never read that and believe me Ive looked this problem up a TON. If anyone HAS battled this problem, did it get better when you lost weight? Maybe its just me with this issue...but Im desperate. Thought Id see if anyone else had this problem...

Well today I started my pre-op all liquid diet. So far it's 6pm and i'm ok. I hear my stomach growling, but it's nothing I cant handle. I had a muscle milk shake for breakfast, chicken broth and SF jello for lunch, just ate a SF popcicle and will have a protein shake for dinner. I've been drinking crystal light as well. I even went to the gym and did 40 minutes of cardio. I'm totally shocked and hope that I can keep this up!

This is the weekend I'll tell hubby

Why don't you just tell him that you have made a decision about something, and it's written in stone ! That you are going in for the surgery. This is your life ! His approval is not necessary. If he had a Medical procedure done, I'm sure you would be buy his side what ever it would be. You expect only the same from him. Quit playing Games.... Mad or not he still should know, and that's like it or not !

    How much time off work

With a desk job, I'd take a week off. And DEFINITELY send the kids away, you won't be in any shape to care for them alone. After my surgery my mom came to stay with us and take care of the kids while my husband was at work, and that allowed me to rest and heal without having to worry about the kids.

It has been so slow for me that I feel I'm losing hope. I have been losing only 2 to 3 pounds per month. I don't think I've lost anything this month. Supposedly I am filled 5cc's. I feel hungry all of the time. I am eating good food, but I guess I'm eating too much. I am struggling and I feel like this surgery was a waste because struggling was all I did before the surgery. Feeling blue! Im the one where the surgeon told me he didn't want me exercising and said that "Exercise doesn't constitute weight loss". I am so confused.

I was banded on 3/1/11 and have lost 79 lbs already. I eat between 600 and 700 calories per day. I cannot fit anymore in me. I get alteast 60 grams of Protein per day, 64oz of Water, and keep my fat intake below 25grams per day. I make sure to exercise everyday.

    How much time off work

Everyone is different; but I had my operation on a Friday morning (3/18/2011) and was back to work Monday morning; I work in an office (have to climb stairs) and worked 10 hours that day with no problems-and have not missed a day since. For me I think the key was walking. The hospital where I had my operation makes you stay over night- and they have you walk as soon as possible after surgery. I had heard that walking helps break-up the gas from surgery-so every time I woke up that night I walked and the next morning before coming home I walked all over the halls. I had no gas pain and felt great-only ever took a tylenol for pain. Just listen to your body. Hope this helps. :-)

    Cheat foods not bothering me?!

Hey tryingtolose What I think is horrible is the fact that having one soft shell taco made you feel that bad. To me thats rediculous especially if you was hungry! and if you're on the same diet that they have the rest of us on then I'm sure you were very hungry. But Even worse than that is the responses you got just from eating a taco! If you keep listening to some of these people you're not gonna do to well because Having a taco when you're hungry and deeming it as bad food is just soooo wrong. I'm sure you're old enough not to have to sneak food if you're old enough to drive youself to get it. So who do you have to answer to other than yourself. What I think people gotta to understand is its ok to have different food as long as its in moderation. I didn't read where you bought a 6pack of tacos and scarfed it all down with a diet coke. You said u had 1 taco. Next time i think i would be like "I'm going to have 1 taco from tacobell and enjoy it and go on enjoying the rest of my day and my diet." Or just substitute it for something else. that day. Just dont do it everyday allday. Lighten up and those of yall giving her this mission impossible advice yall need to lighten up also. Trust me tryingtolose they eating more than tacos!lol

    Absolute frustration!

The hunger goes away after the fills, that is their purpose the amount of food you eat? You have to control that.
