    Three year surgiversary.

Hello, thank you for your kind words. The reason I decided to go below my goal weight was this. I kept hearing about a 20 lb average weight gain at around 2 years out from surgery. I figured if that was a possibility, that I should prepare for that. I am 3 years 3 months out from my surgery date. Fortunately, I didn't gain the 20 lbs. I don't feel like I am too thin. Flabby yes. It has been a struggle to exercise since Covid19. I am sure I'm not the only one struggling. When will you have your surgery? What surgery did you decide on? I am praying for everyone playing the waiting game due to covid19.

    Regrets

I’m sorry you are having period problems. They do suck. Like everyone has said, go see a Gyno they know more about women’s body parts then a Baritric surgeon does. It could be something that isn’t related to your surgery at all. You are probably have low iron too from all of your bleeding. please let us know what your Gyno finds out.

    Why don’t I get “full”

soup is a liquid and goes right through you. Yogurt takes a little longer, but not much. You'll start to really feel the restriction when you get to the solid food stage.

I’m gaining weight since I have started protein and tonight I had some cravings so I chewed and spit I was thinking of just taking 2 things of protein and the rest broth and water then if I need to because I have a craving chew and spit my surgery day is feb 4th and I was told I need to lose weight .

    Backlash??

I had to step back from all forums for a bit. Even after surgery I was second guessing and even starting to get depressed. I wasn’t reading anything negative or being attacked or anything. I just needed to stop reading everyone else’s experience. This surgery was about me and my family and being healthy again. Medical professionals helped me to make this choice after attempts that I failed at to loose weight. My wife and family were supportive with my other failed attempts and this was my next option. As for the Covid aspect. If I was to get Covid at this weight I am more susceptible to being in the hospital anyway due to blood pressure and weight so... I’d be there either way. Why not go for the surgery and make it easier on the docs and nurses rather then go in with Covid. 2 days post op vs weeks with Covid. You are welcome docs and nurses. But truely my stepping back from the forums for a couple weeks has helped me. As well as going to the doctors and listening to my trusted medical professionals.
