Hi I've just found out I'm finally on waiting list and should be getting sleeved around October time , I am very nervous I've never had surgery before ,also surgeon wanted me to have bypass because I'm type 2 diabetic but I'm hoping I will still get good results with sleeve ? Any one had sleeve long term have you managed to maintain weight loss and keep diebetics at bay ? And then theres the GERD / acid issues please tell me it doesn't happen to everyone ,also what is the average weight losses with sleevers I'm currently about 17 stone size 18 wondering what I would average out at I know it differs slightly but just a rough idea xx p.s I'm UK and UK buddies about. 😃

    Fiber

At 6 weeks, fiber may not be the best option for you only because you're still healing. Better options to get things moving again: Miralax, Milk of Magnesia, Dulcolax, Smooth Move Tea. Depending on the severity of your problem, you can also try glycerin suppositories or even enemas. Remember to be drinking enough water. The GI tract needs water to remove the wastes from your body.

So, this guy is probably out of jail by now. Lost his license. A registered sex offender. As it is with cases like this (I have a long history of childhood sexual abuse, including a miscarriage at age 12), the victims' lives are affected forever. Yes, I had many years of therapy including support groups. Yes, I know the shame and blame is with the perpetrators, but that fact doesn't always sink in during intrusive flashbacks or other times of emotional distress. PTSD doesn't just disappear the day the molester is released from prison.

Congratulations on your upcoming surgery. Many good things coming your way. Expect 60% weight loss with the sleeve. Gerd does not happen to all of us. For many, diabetes is resolved. I'm five years and maintaining. I'm a well-controlled type 1 diabetic

    Heard back from Surgeons office

They say I am going to skip the Psych stuff, and the usual longer diet since my BMI is 36. I will have to meet with a nutritionist and do a 3 day diet before surgery. The gal I talked to said she would talk to the DR. on Wednesday and then get back with me to schedule my surgery. Whoot!

I relate to this on so many levels... I'm an introvert and struggle to leave my house unless I'm going to work. Its mostly because I'm so self conscience about my weight, embarrassed, and ashamed. I'm hoping I feel the same way you feel after surgery.

    The Forbidden Craves

Yes it's depressing and sad how some of them are so delusional "oh I only eat once a day lol" Then they lie.cheat.hide food from family and loved ones.. They repeatedly waste the Drs time.. And their family just continuously sit Back and feed them the junk killing them.. One episode this lady ate probably 6 times a day huge meals every meal takeaway like how do they afford it number 1? The whole car ride to Houston just stuffing their faces with Crap!
