Hi how long do you sleevers take to eat your meals I was told 30/40 mins each meal ,how do you do that make a tiny portion last that long and what happens if you don't ?

I've been searching for people from the UK I've finally on the wAiting list for sleeve after 1.5 years of education sessions and appointments got told I could be done in October ,how have u all found it I'm nervous about GERD long term Barrett's issues and I really want my type 2 diabetic to sort it self out after op I just hope I don't regret doing sleeve for these reasons ,any long termers here have u done well maintaining your loss ? Xxx

Hi I've just found out I'm finally on waiting list and should be getting sleeved around October time , I am very nervous I've never had surgery before ,also surgeon wanted me to have bypass because I'm type 2 diabetic but I'm hoping I will still get good results with sleeve ? Any one had sleeve long term have you managed to maintain weight loss and keep diebetics at bay ? And then theres the GERD / acid issues please tell me it doesn't happen to everyone ,also what is the average weight losses with sleevers I'm currently about 17 stone size 18 wondering what I would average out at I know it differs slightly but just a rough idea xx p.s I'm UK and UK buddies about. ?

Any body in UK had bypass I'm pre op would love to hear experiences from op onwards how's it been for you ? Im very nervous never had an op and worry about long term life about malabsorption ,complications ect
