    Somebody talk me down!

I am 67 days post-OP and only 25 pounds down since surgery. That makes a total of 95 pounds down total, but I have a long way to go, as I was 399 when I started this weight loss journey. I'm a little discouraged by the slow pace of my post-op weight loss. I keep telling myself that slow and steady wins the race , blah, blah, blah, but I thought it would come off a lot faster. I have been following the plan, but the Easter candy is starting to look so tempting. I was told that right after surgery, you couldn't help but lose weight. That it would just drop off. Well I was losing about a pound a day for two weeks or so and then I had a two week stall. I even gained 5 pounds eating 600-700 calories a day. Some days I couldn't even get up to 600. Ketosis - getting desperate...

That sounds like me. I'm driving myself crazy. I ate 5 crackers with cheese and gained 2 pounds and I don't understand why?!?!? I was still under 1000 calories. I was staying closer to 600, which I guess I'm going to have to really make an effort to stay at as I was losing weight then but at 850 calories I am not losing for two weeks. Ugh!

    Help i need some answers

I find this a bit worrying for you. I am 13 months out, 80 lbs down, and no way could I eat more than 1 egg in a meal, let alone 2 plus sausage. I find protein SO filling! Are you getting enough fluid? Thirst can be mistaken as hunger. A good protein shake with all the vitamins would be a better option rather more food.

I've been there! I had friends over the night before my liquid diet and we ordered a ton of foods for plans to pig out and I couldn't even finish a slice of pizza. Congrats!

Congrats! He should be fine, the baby will be too little to affect his lifting restrictions.

If you like your sweets like I do, you've got to try this recipe I made yesterday. It rocked my world! 2 scoops of chocolate protein powder 10 packets of splenda 1/4 cup of smooth peanut butter 1/4 cup of margarine You melt the peanut butter and margarine in a small saucepan just enough to soften it, then you mix it with the dry ingredients, press the mixture into a square pan and chill it in the refrigerator for an hour, then cut into squares. I made my first batch last night and wow oh wow was it good! What a treat for this sweet tooth and so filling. Nutritional info: 9 servings - 60 calories per serving, 6 g protein per serving, 2.5 g fat per serving, 4 g carbs per serving, 2 g sugar per serving

I am having the surgery. I have talked about it extensively with my husband and I want to be around for my kiddos.
