Yaay! My stall broke yesterday! I spent 5 days without any movement of the scale and then BAM down 3 pounds. Sent from my SM-G930V using BariatricPal mobile app

Yes. It doesn’t bother me either. Unfortunately the onus is on us to follow a proper diet and exercise to continue to lose weight. Just like before surgery. The good news is after losing a large amount of weight it’s easier to stay on track.

I was watching a YouTube video on a person who gave me a different perspective on stalls. Stalls are the body's way of recalibrating itself. You seem to be doing everything correct. Your body just need time. One of the things that I decided to do is not to have a scale as I think you can become too fixated on the number and held captive by it. You're gonna lose weight. And losing weight slowly may not be a bad thing. Just my own perspective Sent from my SM-J737VPP using BariatricPal mobile app

    Extreme Intestinal Cramping

Hey Fluff! Long time! I was wondering about this too. My poo routine has always been slow, between 3-5 days between trips so it was no oddity that it was that long between trips even after surgery. The difference after surgery, tho, is that my #2s are - most of the time - oily rabbit turd little things, sometimes bigger and drier. I had been thinking about starting on a Miralax habit as well prior to this. Ps. I guess I expunged so much on the 28th, I still haven't gone since. And I don't even feel anything coming. I feel very empty, really. My food intake has been super, super low bcos I'm afraid of pooping again...the pain was THAT bad. And I don't wanna go back to the doctor...so no food, no poo, no pain. I know, I know...[emoji53] Sent from my LG-H932 using BariatricPal mobile app

    Hungry....

May not be hunger, could possibly be acid reflux? Are you on any medication for a little while to help reduce acid?

    Pre-Op Diet Emotions

Oh no! Emotions can definitely be raw during this process. It gets better! FWIW, most broth boxes are designed to have the seal break when you twist the top (similar to Muscle Milk Light protein shakes); if you listen you can hear it rip and can then feel the seal inside the container.

I don't think that skipping meals is going to help you. You're already getting very little calories, which is normal for where you are in the program. I would advise to add more water. You've got this!

I don't know if this is right for you but I was told that I wasn't eating enough calories and my body was holding onto the fat as it was in starvation mode. I was on about 700 calories a day at that point so I upped it to 900 - 1000 and it broke the stall. In fact I lost 5lbs a few days after, you could try it and see what happens?
