    3 months post op.

I am feeling the same as you. I'm at a stall. I am following my NUT plan to the T. But I realized that earlier on I was losing weight daily because I was eating a lot less and healing my tummy. Now that I'm on a regular diet, I'm not losing weight. I track everything in myfitnesspal and my NUT is my friend on it too. That helps track what I eat. I'm so worried too about stretching it. Thanks Nancy

    3 months post op.

The best way to control this kind of anxiety is to weigh and measure your food, every bit of it. I had some of the same concerns early on and found that measuring my portions eased my mind almost completely. You SHOULD be eating more at 3 months post-op than you were 3 days post-op...you also know what volume/protein grams you should be eating now, so weigh it, measure it and eat it!

    What would you do!

It's frustrating for sure. Especially with everything we have to think about before surgery. As an office manager, I can tell you that when someone is unexpectedly out sick, it can cause a lot of strain and backup, especially in a busy office like a medical office. You are likely not the only patient experiencing a delay. I would give them the rest of the week and call again first thing Monday morning. If the person who submits paperwork for your doctor is still out sick, and they still haven't submitted your information, I would nicely ask for the office manager or a supervisor, and just calmly explain what's been going on and ask of she can help you and get your paperwork sent out. Take a deep breath - it will all work out!

    Should I be concerned

Reason I said that is because I didn't pay enough attention once or twice and ate too fast and pretty much wanted to die afterwards...lol. It can be really difficult to pace yourself with only a 1/2 cup of food when I was used to downing an entire plate of food in 5 minutes. With time you'll start to read your body better and will be able to tell when that full feeling is beginning to creep up and slow down or stop entirely. It's just extra hard in the early stages when healing since all the wiring between your stomach & brain is screwed up.

    Should I be concerned

Thank you guys so much. Yes, I take my time and eat very slowly. I'm glad there isn't something wrong with me.

It's not the Amazon jungle, but I spent 4 days at Disneyland when I was about 2 months out and I did really well I was very sick and feeling terrible before my surgery...afterward, I felt like a rock star. What's your physical condition like right now? That may play a part in how well you do after surgery.

    3 days Post op sleeve

Just wanted to introduce myself and be a part of the support group. I was sleeved Friday 3/10/17 and now 3 days Post-op. I haven't lost any weight yet, hoping it's because of inflammation or water retention or something. Looking forward to sharing my journey.

    Double-takes F*cking Rule

that is great! I'm hoping for a similar reaction when i meet up with two guys I used to work with on wednesday. I haven't seen them since february and march respectively - so a couple months before my surgery and at least 120lbs ago! One knows I had the surgery (but still hasn't seen me) and I think he told the other one. Will be interesting to see what their reaction is.
