I had a few toritilla chips, which are normally not a problem..

I must have ate them a bit to quickly.. however here's the problem. This happend wed night, and i simply threw up one bite. Ok we know its not that simple, but honestly it was the simplest stuck episode ive had yet. I only had 3 in 5 months of having the band so not too bad...

my upper chest is soo sore.. I can feel where its sore. I feel it when im just resting.. I went on liquids best i could, and if i cheated i ate pretty mushy stuff.. Im starting to get worried now. Its teh second day of feeling this really bad soreness and i assume my stomach is just really irritated? I have threw up before and i never felt this way afterwards im normaly relieved right after..

Im gonna stick to liquids and mushy thing again tommorrow.. I just hope this goes away.. I actualy have a fill apt next week and hope i dont need to get an unfill to relieve this..

whats this about???

anyone!!??

Thanks in advance

I had a small piece of baked chicken get stuck about a month in and I was in pain for 36 hours - couldn't drink Water, nothing. The pain does go away I promise although I did have to have an unfill when I got home (I was in Vegas) to get it fully passed through. I couldn't throw up for the life of me. Hope you feel better!

when my dr unfilled me, i hadn't even had a fill yet and i swear to you, the second he pulled Fluid out, it was like all the pain in my chest disappeared the instant he did it. it was sort of like having a big weight on my chest and the minute he unfilled me, it was like aaahhhhhh.....instant relief. i feel for you, i hope you get better soon. keep us all updated

hello,

I had that once and I know how a bad feeling it is. but for me it happened when I ate a little to much. My guess for me is to make sure you chew your food enough they say I think 32 times before.

I myself have been stuck in a Plateu any ideas?

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
