Tomorrow is my 1st weigh in on my 6 month pre-op supervised diet. What happens if I haven't lost any weight?

I did loose but I am on my menstral cycle and very bloated and retaining Water like crazy.

I have tried Diruex all week and it does not seem to be helping. I drink nearly lots of Water.< /p>

Hi there,

I completed 3 months of my 6 mo. supervised "diet". I have not lost a pound -;(. The nutritionist told me I will be ok as long as I do not gain. My BMI is 38 - so that may be why she told me that? I have Highmark PPO Blue for my insurance.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
