Hi guys just checking In I was banded february 3,2010! My starting weight was 302 I currently weigh 172. I lost a totally of 130lbs

i think all protein shakes are the same, and if it the kind with whey protein in it then you can just get that at walmart for $15 thats what i did. my surgen center they have protein shakes made by then and they wanted us to buy them and they were $30 i told then i didnt have the money and they told me i can go to walmart to get one ( well the nurse told me)

to behonest i went with a center call true results weight loss. its a center that does just lap band and i went with the doctor they had.

my liquid diet is 14 days and i am on day 7 and thus far i am doing great. dont get me wrong i am hungrey as i dont know what and i think about eating every second. but dont.

hey my surgery is feb 3 and i started my liquid diet on the 20th and i have been drinking protein shake in the morning and protien shake in the after noon with jello or yourt and protein shake at night.

wow your not that far from me. Well so far as the process it depends on what your insurace requires. My insurace required 4 months supvised diet. 2yrs of me being over weight ( i had to get that from my doctor) and a bmi over 35. So you would have to check with your insurace to see what they require.
