Yes Kinzie, still here. I'm not active on the blog but I check out the updates I am subscribed to. Two years out I am still down 60 lbs, even after a twins pregnancy! I am so happy with my band. I couldn't imagine my life today without it. :)

I am still around, hardly ever check in here though, as like most of us, life has moved on and the band, although still very much part of my life, is not such a major part.

I have lost about three stone and now have a BMI of 28.5. I am slowing down on the weight loss but still continuing to alter in shape.

Once I started to look nice again I bought loads of fancy knickers, don't know why, but it was fun to embrace that side of me again. Then it started to be fun buying clothes - I had hated it for ages. Massive increase in self esteem these days. Just good to feel fitter, look good, be healthier in general.

The money I spent on the band was the best value for the money because it really has transformed my life.

I'm still here. I'm down 166.8 pounds and at goal! I met my goal of 150 on 7/14/11.....I'm on youtube ALOT! They have a FANTASTIC support group and you should all come check it out! Just search for "lapband" or "WLS" or whatever and it should bring up a bunch of different people. You can watch videos of everyone's journey and it will motivate you to keep pushing forward! I promise! Congrats to everyone thus far! I can't believe it's been 2 years already! :)

      Still purging all of the larger clothing. This morning, a shirt that I ADORED wearing ended up on top. Hard to let it go, but it was also hard to let go of those habits that also no longer serve my highest good. Onward and upward!

      Well, tomorrow I go in for an impromptu hiatal hernia repair after ending up in the ER over the weekend because I couldn't get food down and water was moving at a trickle... I've been having these symptoms on and off for a few weeks but Sunday was the worst by far and came with chest pain and trouble breathing. The ER PA thinks it is just esophagitis and that the surgeon and radiologist are wrong. But the bariatric surgeon swears it is a hernia, possibly a sliding one based on my symptoms. So he fit me into his schedule this week to repair it! I hope he's right and this sorts it out. He's going to do a scope afterwards to be sure there is nothing wrong with the esophagus. Here's hoping it all goes well!!
