Does anyone have a redi set go?

Recommended Posts

I saw this infomercial the other day about an Xpress Redi Set Go. Its like a george foreman, only seriously better. It looked like it would be very useful for when I can eat again (lol) and I just wanted to see if anyone already had one and could tell me if it was worth it. I think they are only like $40. If you don't have one, check it out, its pretty cool.

That's the one infomercial where I sometimes linger. If I had more room in my kitchen, I'd get one. Looks like a cool gadget.

I hope someone gives us a review.

No more kitchen gadgets that are bigger than a potato peeler! I just don't have room for them. But I will say that I use the gas grill in the back yard A LOT and what I usually do is when I grill a meal for the family, I will grill 2-3 extra chicken breasts/chopped steaks or whatever for my lunches.

I had seen the informercial of the original one and was doing some looking and what keeps coming up is that the nonstick coating peels off quickly and the lid blisters, some people have it and love it and others hate it, personally I will wait until it hits stores to check it out that way I am not getting the run around or getting charged for a bunch of stuff I don't want or need. It is a cool idea though.

I saw one at Target last night. It was silver, though, and maybe it was a different model. It did have the red-haired cook lady on the box. And it was $24.99. Didn't buy it. Don't have the counter space.

I think the red one is a new version of the silver one. I think the silver one only has the side by side cooking space. Its mostly an omelet maker from what I understand.

I have to admit I bought it and have used it only to make pizza. It was wonderful. I haven't been cooking alot since the band, but I like the gadjet and haven't had any problems with it. Hopeful one of these days I will get in gear and start using it. It came with a recipe booklet that looked good. I also have a small George Foreman and use it to grill chicken.< /p>

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...
