Dr. Michael Snyder - Great Surgeon!

Recommended Posts

i had my surgery on 3/24 Dr. Snyder and his staff were amazing I'm about a week out. I don't get to meet with him for another week would it be ok to have other liquids that aren't necessarily clear?

If you are supposed to be on Clear Liquids then why would you push it to something that is not. Follow what your post op directions say exactly, you need to heal. If it says Clear Liquids, then don't push it.

well it says to be on clear liquids for like 5 days and then you can go to the 5 foods you can pick from and since i havent seen him i figured i would stay on the liquids but im reading other things that ppl have said they can drink full liquids after two days

I had Dr, Snyder as my surgeon this past Monday. I can't find words to tell you how wonderful heis. I had no pre-op diet, and have not had any gas pains and have not used any of the narctiocs that he had given me. I would higly recommend him.

Had surgery with Dr. Snyder on March 19 2012. It was a wonderful experience. I received a Lap Band with Plication. There was some difficulties with the Plication but he was on top of it immediately. It was mostly just a lot of swelling. He had may stay over night in the hospital and I was watched very closely. I am home now and can't wait to do the rest of the classes. The staff is awesome and I am so glad that I was given all the education in the world to be successful. Dr. Snyder told me he promised he would make things perfect and he really did.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
