How long did you wait before getting 2nd fill?

Recommended Posts

I had my first fill on May 11th. I feel like it wasn't enough and feel I should go back in for another.

Im curious, how long did everyone wait between their 1st and 2nd fill?

I waited about 3 1/2 weeks from my first fill. Everyone is different so if you are feeling like you need another one make an appointment. I know my doc will not give you an appointment until after 2 weeks from the last fill you had. Good luck.

My Doctor wants me to wait 5-6 weeks before my second fill. I got 4cc on my first fill and could really tell a difference. Good luck!

I've been lucky enough that I haven't had to have my second fill for quite a while. At least I think it's been quite a while since my first fill. I'm not sure when most people get their second fills. I had my first fill on Feb 4th and now, tomorrow I need to go call my doctor for a second fill.

Hi. I went in for my 1st fill May 28. I was told that 75% of folks are in pretty quickly for a 2nd fill. I got my 2nd one yesterday, which was less than 2 wks. later. Hoping this will be better.

Hope this helps.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
