Brazillian Waxing

I was wondering the same thing, Fanny. I have never heard of it and am curious.

Fanny, you're the only one that'll get this, but I'm rolling round laughing at a Fanny on a Brazillian waxing thread.

Imagine sugar in your bits for days! Exfoliation anyone?

ROFL!! That's one of the things I love about my user name

PS: I'd also like to know about this "no scream cream", coz I squeal plenty!!

Hey gals! Sugar waxing is a ball of wax with sugar in it. She just rubbed the ball over the area and it took the hair off. There was no wax, cloth, and PULL! NONONO. Just rolled the ball of sugar wax over the area and off with the hair! It WASN'T as bad as I thought at all! I highly recommend it!

Oh, it hurts.. but, it is just for a second. It depends on how thick the forest is though.

The first time I had myself so worked up about it, but it wasn't nearly as bad as I had imagined it to be.

Make sure you exfoliate a lot afterward and use an antibiotic cream or something to prevent ingrowns.. atleast I get them and it isn't fun or sexy!:)

Go for it...:bat:

Absolutely not chica.. No alcohol before.. I wax for a living and those two do not mix.. You need to find someone who does waxing as there main service and you will be good to go.. Yes it does smart the first go around but if you keep it up every 4-6 weeks the hair will get softer and the experience will be less painful each session.. Good luck and have fun with it.. Get designs on occasion...

Gotta love waxing... got the legs, armpits and fanny done the day before I left for Broome and was able to spend the week nekkid on the beach with no worries about stubble. Even now (9 days later), I'm still smooth, smooth, smooth... With shaving, the stubble gets scratchy within HOURS let alone days and days...

(PS: Heheh - Fanny waxed her fanny :grouphug:. For my US friends, the word "fanny" DownUnder means your veejayjay, not your butt :)).

Wimp, lol

Seriously, want me to numb that for you? *num num num num* Ok, it's kind of an old, visual joke, but I couldn't resist.

Ok, I guess I'm a little ignorant about the topic. Need a little explaining please.

You can pay to get ALL your stuff waxed?? Front to back? ha ha

And does someone apply the wax for you? Or is it one of those things where they stick you in a room and say "here you go" with a diagram on the wall?

And BIG girls get this done too?

I had DH help me once with drug store brand and I thought he pulled the entire thing off. LOL I was picking purple goo out of the remaining "carpet" for weeks after.

If I can be clean and smooth front to back then where do I sign up?

Yup, you can pay to have someone wax it all... My local salon has one woman who specialises in the brazillian (the other girls just do legs and armpits) and she is awesome. She does the whole lot and at the end, gets you to lie on your side with one knee drawn up while she does the "back" (which doesn't hurt as much as it sounds like it would...). The results are wonderful.

I don't know what prices are like in the US, but my salon charges $25 (AUD) for half leg, $15 for armpits and $35 for the brazillian, so for $75 a month, I am smooooooooooth all over

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
