I'm with you! But some of my "spots" are different...my lower ab and stomach area is not keeping up with the bust, hip, thigh, wrist, calf and neck loss!

Totally! It's been interesting to see where the inches are coming off. I took measurements pre-op and just did them again (I put up a full tally of the measurements on my blog 2 posts ago). I've lost 17.95 inches -- the biggest amounts have come from my hips and waist (yay!) but weirdly, my thighs haven't changed very much. . and it would be great if they would!

Tell me about it. I need to start losing in my arms, lower stomach, thighs and butt. I have a big bubble butt. I also have fat calves. I want to have nice, shapely calves.

I am right there with you. My butt deflated and the girls look like two water-filled balloons that no longer have any Water, if you know what I mean:lol:! I don't care that I am 64; I would like to be perky in my old age! I need to find a plastic surgeon who will work cheap. I will even do before and after pictures for the right price!

As for the poster who needs help with her legs, I will share this with you. I was going to Curves before surgery (and eating an entire pizza for dinner afterwards) so I decided I needed to bump up my exercise for after surgery. So I added walking. I found a nice park near home that has a 2 mile asphalt nature trail. I routinely go around twice, and sometimes on weekends or when off I may do 3, and rarely 4 times around. I don't walk particularly fast and I carry peanuts for the squirrels, but I try to do the distance. Let me tell you, my pants were getting loose before surgery, and except for some loose skin on my inner thighs, my legs are lookin' pretty good. I went from women's 22 to misses size 10 in pants since surgery. So, if you don't already, add some walking to your exercise routine. I don't know if a treadmill will give the same effects, but it may. The trail has small hills and turns so it is different from walking a flat surface. Plus you get some extra Vitamin D from the sunshine.

Now if I could just find someone to do a Tummy Tuck . . .;)

YUP! I wish my stomach would catch up! Lost my rear, a cup size in the girls (I miss my DD's) but that silly stomach seems to just keep hanging on (although it is hanging lower now, so its going a little). Have finally accepted that I have really scary skin after weighing 300+ for most of my life...

Well patch, when you find that surgeon, let me know ... I am having the sleeve on June 12th. The majority of my weight is below my girls to above my knees --- and I am sure after having been stretched for so long, it's going to require some help once I get my weight off. I also wouldn't mind having the girls perkier ... so when you find that doc ... be kind, and share!!!

I have lost so much from my arms, boobs, shoulders and legs that my belly looks humongous. I get asked if I am pregnant now, which totally sucks after losing almost 50 freekin pounds!

My upper body is perfect, just the right amount of fat on it to give shape, but low enough fat for nice muscle definition, and I have killer collarbones and a nice long neck. I'm really happy with everything above the waist - even my deflated boobies, which look pretty OK when I'm dressed, now that they're a perfect C cup. I'm not into huge boobs.

I have a nice flat stomach, dont need to lose any more weight from there.

what I want gone:

those annoying little love handles that hang over the top of anything that's firm fitting

the saddlebags, I always had them, now they're really obvious "pockets" of fat on an otherwise muscular and thin thigh. Ditto the inner thigh fluff.

My bum's still huge, lol. I'm very much pear shaped, the area between mid thigh and hip bones is my problem zone. I'd love to be able to spot weight reduce just there.

BUT - I really may at some stage try to scrape together the money for some Lipo to finish it off. Because in reality if I lose anymore I'll start looking skeletal above the waist. And I'll still be the same shape, only a bit smaller below.

My Grandma Liz told me "Think of losing and gaining weight like filling a bag of sand. When you fill it up you start from the bottom up. When you start taking sand out you start from the top down." :tt2: I think I will need something done with the sisters and the tummy.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
