the correct numeric order of dress sizes for women

I have always wondered this ladies, but whether you shop in the juniors, petites, misses, or WOMENS world aka plus size...i wanted some input or help if I have this right....

sizes for an adult female (in jeans and or a dress), let me know if im right yall...

0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,14,16,18,20,22,24,26,28...dont know after that..

There have been some instances where i have seen a size 13 and 15 all on its own, but its usually always in conjuctions like 13/14 or 15/16 on the tag...

I wonder this b/c im currently a 20 aiming for a 12, so would i say im trying to drop 8 dress sizes or 4?

The 13's etc are "junior" sizes

And you would drop 4 sizes going from 20 to 12

20 to 18

18 to 16

16 to 14

14 to 12

I would say 4 sizes too, here in Austalia. We dont have junior, misses etc. There's kids clothes and adult clothes.

Some jeans chains do 12, 13, 14, 15 etc. But our sizes generally start at an 8, occasionally a six, which is about the equivalent to a 2 or so. So when I say I'm a size 12, in your terms its really about an 8. I really really want to come to the states just to go shopping for clothes with an 8 on the label, since that size is TINY here. Not something a big 5ft 10 clod like me would ever get into,, and if I did, I'd probably need to be hospitalised.

Odd sizes are juniors

Even sizes are misses

over size 18 is women's

petites are for those under 5 foot 4.

      Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

        As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

        Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

      Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
