Lap-Banded Out

I never thought I'd say this but I'm lap-banded out! I'm so anxious for surgery and have been on the boards so much in the past week that I'm actually looking at starting a new hobby...LOL...

Can't wait to read something that pertains to the new me...I think I've overprepared myself as I'm ready to call and see if there are any cancellations tomorrow...LOL

I can certainly relate to being lap-banded out. I, too got that way. I made the decision to just walk away from it all for a few days( especially as my date got nearer)...it was like emotionally I just couldn't take any more! I think we all need some time to let things really settle in and I needed to not talk about it or think about it to do that. Once I felt like I was calm and ok with myself, then I read all the posts I had missed and I had such a different perspective. Hang in there...time goes so fast and yet seems to take so long. Take a break, we'll all still be here when you get back!

Good luck!!!

Megan
