Okay, realized tonight that I didn't post my results for the week.

Pitiful really. I had a gain of 1.7. I'm hungry after only a 1 1/2 after my last fill. I'm going to call the nurse and see if she can get me in to see him this week for another fill.

So. Not going to hit my goal again. :smile2:

Whoo Hoo! Actually made my goal and have lost 101 pounds! Got a slight tiny fill today, so hoping in another month or 2 will be under 200 pounds for first time in 15 plus years.

I am not going to make goal either. :tt2: I thought I would Tuesday because I was at 226 and 225 is my goal. I have been doing pretty well with my eating this week but I started working out again and have some strange stuff happening health wise and my weight has actually crept upward since Tuesday. I am planning to be very watchful of my food today and try to get in a good walk this afternoon and see what happens tomorrow!

No matter the outcome! I am blessed beyond measure to serve a Risen King! He is my Passover Lamb so that my sins have been covered by His blood! Thank you, Jesus!

I give up! Argh! I am so frustrated right now! Doing the right things, but the scale is stuck!

Three months and four days ago... I was in Costa Rica having a life changing surgery! Yesterday we had a followup visit with Dr. Esmeral via video chat and this morning my middle number changed.  I'm down 47lbs and two pants sizes. I can wear a Large tshirt for the first time in like... 14 years! Woot!! Everything is going great. I have zero regrets. I went down to the riverwalk with a friend and walked 2 miles on Monday without even getting fatigued. And no more snoring or chugging pickle juice for crazy leg cramps! I need to go to the gym more... I'm making new shirts next week so that will motivate me. LOL But I'm also just not as TIRED all the time! I have a LONG way to go...but seeing the progress on the scales and in the mirror is a huge motivator!! Thank you all for cheering me on and supporting me!!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.
