So how is everyone's weight loss going now that you're on regular foods? I gained last week, but I think I'm going to be down those pounds at tomorrow's weigh in. I'm not asking this in a competion way, trust me I'm not that kinda girl.

Thanks everyone for the Bday wishes. I don't think I'll be down this week I've been feeling big so that kept me off the scale. I did step on it last night and had not lost since Friday ut I didn't gain either. People are telling me they can see the difference. Yeserday I ran into a fellow bandster at work that hadn't seen me since before my surgery later in the morning she brought another bandster to meet me and it was someone I don't know but chat wiht when we pass they both said they can see the difference. Guess that's what matters.

I agree JT, take whatever positive responses you get as proof. Sometime the scale doesn't reflect all the changes. Feel free to remind me of that next time I'm whining about the scale :)

Congrats on the baggy jeans, Heather!! It doesn't matter what size they are...all that matters is that they are baggy on you now!

Food for me is definitely different than it was before. I can eat tuna sometimes, but not always. I cannot eat any type of cracker other than wheat thins...everything other than wheat thins seem to "expand" and feel terrible. I can eat a chicken nugget...but not regular chicken that I have barbequed. It is just so funny adjusting to this.

The scale is stuck and has not moved...I am hoping that will change soon...I mean, how can I not be losing weight when I am not eating nearly as much or as high calorie foods as before this was done??

Anyway, good for you on your nsv...it really does make a difference to notice changes in how clothing fits. At least I can say that I notice clothes fitting better...that is something...

Going to be a crazy couple of days here at work. I go to see my Doc tomorrow. Not sure if I'll be given a fill or not. I will update Wednesday. I hope to be able to come at least read all the posts in between working crappy jobs.

No fill for me. Have to go back to the Doc on the 2nd. He told me to eat 4 oz of Protein (chicken, turkey, fish- no red meat) then evaluate if I'm truly hungry after that. He also said no bread, potatoes, rice or Pasta. Having a food scale is law, according to him.

There was something else he said that I wanted to share, but I'm completely blanking on it. If I remember I'll come back and share.

So what things have you been told?

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
