banded yesterday 1/13/09

:sneaky: hi guys havn't been on for a while just got banded yesterday doing ok the gas pain is the worsed part right now hope it will pass soon. glad to be back

Congrats to you on the band, YEAP, the GAS, it was horrible for me also. When I would lay in the bed at night I would threaten my husband that if I could pass just a little, just a little, I might feel relief. I think I scared him!! It did take about two weeks for mine to pass, but everything else was wonderful. Good luck!

WALK, WALK, WALK, WALK........the more you walk, the less gas pain you will have. We were instructed to do this in our Life Skills Classes before surgery. It really helped me!
