Recommended Posts

Hi All, Am at 248# now. ( a very difficult 1# loss this week) Does this count for April?

Goal For April is 244 ( 5#) ( I seem to set the bar too high and fail ) so lets go low and hopefully surpass it

Hi All, Debi h , don't get discouraged. Everyone loses weight differently. just go over the diet and exercise instructions you have. some times even a small change such as cutting back on calories ( just a little)for a day, increasing Water intake, or 1 extra set of exercises can get one off the plateau.

Ok so I guess I need to buy a weight bench or something. I've been using my gazelle but it doesnt seem to be doing it. I live in a town that is too small (no signals yet)!! we dont have much in town and its to far to go into town. I cant walk much because of health issues. I just put my pool up so I will start to swim soon. That should help. I had some of my fill removed and that helped. I can eat again but havnt lost any weight since......

I am down 2 pounds this week.

Debi, on the other side of the coin...you want to make sure you are eating enough calories. If you eat too few, your body will hold on and you won't lose weight. I think that's been part of my problem the last couple of weeks since my last fill. I'm gonna give it to the end of the week to see if I can eat more. I have been able to eat some more this past week.

I lost 1# last week. I think I am way to loose. I went for 12 days in feb being to tight and that scared me into taking my fills slower. I go back in 2 weeks and am hopefully going to get to a happy medium. It feels like I am hungry all the time.

Hi All,

Well I had a bad food weekend. It was my birthday weekend (4/3) and I gained 1 lb. so I am back up to 235. However, I had a fill today and I am feeling pretty tight right now so hopefully that will give me a boost this month.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
