Well another good week for me. 3 more lbs lost. I am down 11 lbs for the month. I didn't reach my 15 lbs goal but I really don't care since I still had a good weight loss month. This has been one of the best decision I have ever made. I hope everyone else is as happy with this decision in their lives like I have been. So lets get those end of the months totals in everyone! Great work no matter and congrats on the 5 lbs loss China! I know you have worked hard to get that scale moving!

thanks pete and yes i have been trying every thing but, i thought if i eat less like skipping meals it would make me lose more not. so my dr has changed my meal plan to i eat more in the day time and less in the evening as i have more restriction in the day but, feel like im strarving after 6pm. i think its very hard to eat when your not hungry. but, im gonna stick with it.

Well, I didn't reach my goal of 10, but I was almost there. It is my fault really- I know I over ate this week. I get a fill on Wednesday, so hopefully that will help...

I'm down 1 pound, it was 2 a couple of days ago but I'll take the 1. Only 4 more days of this nasty pill.... I have been exhausted, another side effect I believe as well as having some pretty bad headaches. And I can't take anything for them, ugh. I just keep telling myself only a few more days.

Hey everyone! Looks like the December Bandsters are doing GREAT!

I'm down to 260 and have lost many inchs and droped 2 clothes sizes! My doc wants me to speak to the next bariatric seminar about the Lapband...guess I'm an overacheiver.

I haven't been 260 since the late 80s!!!

Pete, I don't want to sound dumb but how do I get to see the chart?

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...
