Hi I´m looking to get banded in January and I was so happy to find thid forum. I hope I can get some advise and tips from all of you who have done the band or are getting it.

I have been thinking should I get banded or should I go for gastric bypass. But now I think I´ll go with the band.

I would love imput on prices and If you have been to Belgium then I would love to hear of your experience there.

Hi & welcome to the forum,when in January are you hoping to get banded? im getting banded 21st January, Derby hospital UK,

Where are you from ?

I have heard its about £3-5000 in Belgium, Im getting mine done through the NHS, have you tried this way? If you are in the UK,

I've waited 5 months from day 1 to the surgery date, which is very good in my opinion

No I´m not in the UK but I have been waiting here in Norway for 16 months now and I have been placed in several programs where diet and exersice is the main focus.

My problem is that I have a lower back problem that is killing me and all those program I´ve been put in have had to be stopped due to my backproblems. This is a problem that has been with me since childhood but went increasingly back when I started playing soccer at the age of 10. Now I´m tierd of the wait and looking to get mine done in January.

so any tips are most welcome
