Help! 3 weeks post-op and still in pain??

I was banded 3 weeks ago today!! I am still filling soreness/pain at my port. Is anyone else having this issue? Is this normal? Thanks!

I was banded 12-01-08. I have very little soreness where my port is. I think it is mostly just my body healing from the incision rather than the actual port. Does your incisions look good? I really don't know the time frame for healing but you may want to watch it.

Tiger girl be patient and give your body a little more time to heal. The port site incision was the one that took the longest to heal for me as well. I've also heard it said by other banders. My best friend during my whole healing and itching process was liquid Tylenol:laugh:. Amen! What a relief. I was banded 8/4/08. Just give it a little more time to heal before you know it you'll forget it exist.

It took a little over 3 weeks for me to stop having pain. I still have some soreness at the port site. My biggest problem right now is Constipation. Anyone have any suggestions?

My port is on the end of my chestbone between my breasts. It was very tender for the first 2 weeks. Now I have no tenderness even when wearing a bra. I do notice if I touch my port a lot then it becomes tender for a few days.
