Hello all,

I had my lap band surgery done on June 16, 2008 and a port revision done November 19,2008.

I started at 226 lbs and now weigh 195. The majority of the weight came off before the surgery during my two week liquid diet.

I would like to hit 135 as a high goal weight, but at this point I am focusing on breaking through 190.

I have refocused and started tracking my foods more carefully and really trying to be more accountable.

I have my 4th fill this month on the 22nd - hopefully that will get me just right.

Anyways, just wanted to share and introduce myself :)

Hi Babbs! I'm new here, too. Since I have less than 100 lbs to lose now, I thought I'd pop in here.

It's so great to be able to share information with others that are going through the same things! I have learned a lot by reading the threads on this site.

Hello Amy and Cindy!

I had a third fill today, I have a 10cc band and now have 5.5cc in it. Feeling good over all and getting good restriction. Now I just have to get up off of my tush and go get on the treadmill! I am trying to pysch myself up for it

Regarding your slow loss... I too lose slow and sometimes am jealous reading about how much weight some people lose in such a short period of time. I was banded in April of 2008 and finally reached ONEderland this morning. EXACLY one and a half years later. I'm glad I'm not the only one who loses slow! :wink2:

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
