Hey old friends! I also regained too much weight. I had the sleeve 3 years ago and never got to goal weight. I did find the sleeve was really working for me while I was pregnant though. Something ab

How exciting Candra - the next month before surgery will fly by. I left work at 12:30 today to meet my parents and kids at Roseville Toyota - my dad traded in my van and bought my mom a new car and now I have her car. It has half the miles on it that my van did and is in much better condition. First time I have driven a car since before Tristan was born and he will be 15 next week. We stopped by and saw my fertility doctor as we were near there - I just love that man - he is so cute and gives the best bear hugs - I got four of them while we were there. I have known him for 17 years and he was my doctor for me getting pregnant for all three kids. I seriously had a crush on him - even though every time I saw him I was in the stirrups. I am trying to do laundry, boil potatoes, and get ready for camping on Friday.

Yea I laughed about it alot the first few times I listend to it..........ya know......" the wonderful, caring surgeon who is very skilled and helpful".......will now slice you open!!! LOL. Kaiser propoghanda I called it!!

Of course I added the last part!! But after a couple of times listening to it..............I was so sold on it. Totally calmed my nerves cause that last week pre op is anxiety haven. I went back and for............I want it, I don't.........but that CD ah.............totally chilled me out. Seriously put me right to sleep too.

I had it playing during surgery on my ipod and I still listen to it when I can't sleep some night...........I do the affirmations now which works for anything.........

Reggie next weekend I have my 14 year old daughter. I could come but not sure about her.............I could try to find a friend for her ...........will there be other kids there?

Listening to it now!!!! I see i will need to listen again right before i go to bed.

The Sac group is the 4th Saturday - I think it's the 22nd this month so either Saturday works for me!

Yeah, heather - don't do the program if you have bad knees!

thanks Pam! Kinda hard to be flirty when your legs are in the stirrups - LOL

Thanks Maria! I think it just depends on your doctor - Liz said it doesn't matter that my first set of labs will be over 30 days but the next set and pregnancy test need to be timed - Pregnancy test two weeks prior and labs within 30 days! I had done my initial labs before i met with liz because Dr. fisher ordered them first. She said this is a competely different set.

haha Tina - I thought you were kidding, this woman really is talking bout slowing down my blood & putting my body parts back together. I guess it's not what you say sometimes, it's the tone of the voice. LMAO

LOL!! I thought it was funny until I realized how much it calmed me down!! Yep they do say some funny things and i was like..............OMG are your serious!! That sounds awful..............but I don't know puts you right to sleep!!

Ok, so now I know what I'm going to listen to so i can go to sleep when my husband is playing those damn war zone games in surround sound on the other side of my bedroom wall at midnight!

so, Nicole, I guess the 4 hours of sleep our husbands need at night is Navy training!

Oh, and those seven jeans I had on yesterday, my husband says I'm not alloud to wear them out with him again - they have a saggy butt. Heather & Tamra - I have two pair of seven jeans in size 16 - I will save them for you - don't get it twisted - I'm still a 16 or 18 but these are stretchy.

Reggie, are you a 16 or 14?

hey ladies!

Candra whoo-hooooooo sept 14th! U got the month I wanted mine, cause I am on vacation lol, but I doubt it wil happen. My goal is to have the weight off by September, and hopefully be done by October!

How is everyone doing? After my coffee @ lunch I never ate again until dinner, I was sooo full... I had some soda tho =X

Boy my band is not happy tonight - I had 7 wheat thins and a laughing cow wedge for breakfast - no problem, then a protein drink and a small banana for lunch - little bit uncomfortable after eating the banana, tried a small amount of spaghetti noodles with butter and parmesan for dinner - ate half of it and gave it to my daughter, went out and watered flowers, came in a pbd the noodles. I guess that is why they say no pasta. I just ate a slider food - small ice cream sandwich.

Need to get back to making my food for a few days ahead of time. Guess why this is a learning process.

Ok, ladies, gonna go do the dishes, bathe and hit the hay! TTL

THANKS ALL OF YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT AND HELP - I WOULD NOT HAVE MADE IT THIS FAR WITHOUT YOU! FOR THE FIRST TIME I ACTUALLY FEEL LIKE I "BELONG" AND AM WHERE I NEED TO BE!!! YOU LADIES ARE FANTASTIC!

For the first time Candra, really?? You were one of us months ago!! But I know exactly what you mean - I can't believe the poor people that have to get banded and go through everything without the kind of support that we enjoy -no make that, that we depend on!

Pam - TOO funny, the stirrup doctor ! Gotta tell ya tho, the visual is a little disturbing, LOL! I hope the bear hugs come after the stirrups!!

I ate more today than I have since I started this process - and my son still stopped me twice. Once when I wanted to buy "him" a brownie at starbucks, so I could have "just a bite" - he's like, NO. NO BROWNIE. DOWN MOTHER. I should have walked/jogged more today (only 7.5 miles) but I had to dye my hair roots and wax my lip and shave my legs and, you know, be a girl! Being single I put that stuff off for too long sometimes.

My PCP told me no jogging too, he said people of "our age" need less impact. They say that power-walking burns just as many calories and is 90x easier on feet legs and joints. I really only jog (and I didn't start until I was under 220) to to get my miles in faster! I can definately work up a sweat (but not nearly as high a heart rate) power-walking and pumping my arms good. If you can walk a 15-minute mile you are getting the best lo-impact aerobic exercise you can get without being on a gym machine. My PCP recommends a spin class - YUCKO! Although if I lived closer and we all could be in the same class, that would be a blast!! But I still need my morning walk . . . I'm hooked . . . . ~sigh~
