Hi * Just wondering if there would be any of you in Tijuana between the 1st to 4th of August! Me and my mom are getting banded during that time, and I figured I might as well ask if anyone would be down there.

I must admit, I'm getting kinda nervous. It's just me wondering how I'm going to last without food for 3 weeks. This is something I wanna do so bad, but I don't know if I'll be able to hack it. (I will though!) I was also wondering, what types of liquids did everyone drink?

while i was on Clear Liquids I lived on Isopure, chicken broth and gatorade.

while i was on full liquids I did slimfast, Protein shakes, smoothies.

Brittany, this was one of my biggest concerns too but I will tell you my experience on this was amazing. I was not even hungry for 3 weeks after surgery. There is swelling from surgery, you have gas from surgery. food just did not even appeal to me after surgery. I know everyone is different, but it is nothing like trying to do it now before the band, it is much easier after surgery because of the swelling and gas . You wil lbe able to do it, we al ldid, the good thing is you will have your mother doing it right along with you, no better support then that! Good Luck, are you using Dr. Ortiz?

He was my surgeon and I have to say I have been blessed with his care and kindness over the last 15 months

I will be in Tiajuana from the 26th of July until the 3rd of August. My mom just wanted to make sure I would be alright before making our trip back across the country and then having to turn around if something went wrong.
