Just thought I'd add in my two cents. My daughter had issues with UTI's and her pediatriction suggested we not let her take bubble baths or use scented soaps until the issue was resolved. That seemed to do the trick and now we use Ivory only.

I wish it was that simple for me. I haven't had a bath in 27

years since my mom made me take one because she thought I would fall down in the shower after my C section.

showers only for me.

Denise,

Have you tried taking Probiotics on a daily basis, thereby maintaining a healthy bacteria in your body. I've only had one vaginal yeast infection due to antibiotics and have had chronic bronchitis and been on lots of antibiotics in my day. I used to take acidolphilus every day, but there are much better Probiotics on the market now. I take one called acidophilus pearls, made by Enzymatic, they are very small & easy to take. Their website is www.trupearls.com Worth a try? Good luck!

I am taking acidolphilus every day. I just increased the doseage. They had the pearls at the health food store, but they told me that this acidolphilus is better.

Which probiotics are better than acidolphilus? On the website you gave me the link to, there are several different boxes of pearls. I can't tell what the difference is.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
