Hey everyone,

I got a magic bullet as a wedding present about a year ago, and have only used it once or twice since then. However, I started my pre-op diet five days ago and found it to be the best device in the world for making Protein Shakes. It all fits nicely into the cup, whirls it up like a shake, and then can be drank right out of the same cup I made it in. I'm hoping to use the other attachments to make my mushies when I get to that point. If you're looking for something easy, with little mess, I would highly recommend it. They were only sold on TV for awhile, but now they're available in stores like Walmart, I think. :cool2:

I just bought one off of craigslist for $20 bucks last weekend. I love it. It has made the mushie stage soooooo easy for me. I put what ever I am cooking for my family in it mush it up and eat basicly the same thing everyone else is. I can make my lunch and just take it with me to work. It was a great investment.

      Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

        As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

        Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

      Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
