this is all new to me

i just decided last week to get the lap band. it is my birthday gift to myseld . i will be 60 friday and have the first seminar on wed. i have read soooo much but have not got actual information on the procedure itself the recovery time hospital time etc. i understand there are different circumstances for different people but would love to hear your experiences. i work from home on my computer so am hoping that i wont have to be off work too long. my job is demanding but flexible.

whaever you can tell me will help calm my curious nature. thanks so much barbvee

If you look in the "post op" forum there is a thread at the top called "surgery day stories" and there's more there than you ever wanted! LOL
