BANDSTOCK would have been TODAY!!!

Recommended Posts

Still makes me sad when I think today would have been the "First Annual Michigan Bandstock 2005" ..... We had high expectations...and that's not a bad thing....but we were so excited about it, we thought it would catch on. But we learned ...and that's what's important...

But what's MOST important is that we each made 2 new friends....awesome friends with the same passion and drive to do great things!!! Greg and Lyle have become like brothers to me....and I know that if I ever needed anything, no matter how big or how small, I could ALWAYS count on them!!! And they know that it works both ways and they can count on me too!!!

So all is not lost.....in fact, we are all stronger for it!!!

Take care....and we'll see you at the next Almost-Bandstock event!!!

Nancy

Aw. That IS sad. I really wanted to go too, but we just don't have ANY extra money. (As is with a lot of people here in MI) I so looked forward to meeting a lot of great people from here, but maybe some other time I will be able to do just that!

You 3 are great for even trying to plan an event like that, and I give you all major kudos for all of the hard work that you put into it. And like you said, you have all become like family, so all is not lost.

Thanks to all of you who put in time on planning that event. You all deserve a huge round of applause!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
