Numbness near port

I was banded last Friday the 15th. My incisions are still healing. I noticed however that the skin below the port incision is kinda numb. I can feel pressure when I press on it, but the skin is numb, I can't feel my fingernails scratching it.

Anyone else? Do you think this will subside as my wounds heal?

Mine was the same way in the same place. I was banded on August 1st and it now is back to normal.

Mine is the same way also....but it still doesn't feel right yet. I was banded August 6th.

I am 3 months post-op and still have some numbness.

I was banded July 2, 2008 and I have that numbness too. It's gotten better but still there slightly.

I am still numb and I was banded on 8.11.08....nerve damage...may or may not come back...

I was banded in June and it is still numb......I wonder also if it will ever go away

I was banded 7/30 and I have the numbness too. it's nerve damage but it may come back. If it doesn't it's not that big of a deal. i had a breast reduction in November and both boobs are still completely numb underneath. That's much worse than a slight area of numbness on the belly.:smile2:
