  1. Yeah, I know all about that "muffin top" thing. I do not quite look like the "michelin tire man" around the waist anymore, but I definately have the "muffin top" thing going on!!
  2. I was totally addicted to diet caffeine free Mountain Dew but I have not had any soft drinks since July and I do not miss them at all.
  3. How are you able to enter all of your data on you profile. I tried to add my fills etc.. and it tells me it is to long.
  4. I am loosing hair, but I am only 4 months out.
  5. I had my 1st fill yesterday. He put in 0.5 cc. I have not been ableto tell yet either.
  6. I am so happy for you both!!
  7. I am 3 months post op and I will tell you that I cannot or should I say I don't think I can eat breads, chips, steak or pastas. I have lost 40 lbs since my surgery in August and I have not had a fill yet either. My doc says I do not need one yet cause I am still loosing weight.
  8. You cannot see mine. If I am laying on my back and poke pretty hard I can feel something hard there. I have no problems sleeping on my stomach, of course I do have a waterbed. It has been the best thing I have ever done. I love my band!!
  9. I dip all of mine in light ranch dressing. It makes it great. I also may eat some cube cheese with it if I want a variety of flavors.
  10. Who are you thinking about using for surgery?
  11. See this is why I am scared to get a fill!!
  12. My hubby was not supportive to start with and he knew I had to have him at my 1st and pre-op visit or they would not do the surgery. He went to those visits and listened to what the doctor had to say and he has ended up being very proud of me and my decision. He sees how much it has improved my quality of life and that has made it all worth it. Give him a chance and hopefully he will come around. My hubby knew I had made up my mind and he saw everything I went through to get approval for the surgery, so I guess he figured I had done all of the hard work so he could at least be there for me. I think it has made our marriage stronger too. Good luck and follow your heart.
  13. I was banded on August 1, 2008 and I went today for my 2 month checkup and he did not give me a fill this month either. I have not had a fill yet cause I lost 20 lbs the 1st month and I had lost 14 lbs this month so he said I did not need a fill yet. I am okay with that though. I wish I would never need a fill and could loose all of my weight with just the band restriction. My doc said right now I am actually running in line with his gastric bypass patients, but he told me not to get overly excited cause it will slow down now. I hope he is wrong though.
